La Réalité

Been listening to some African French jams on the late. Trying to pick up some french fried phrases to test on my sister before she takes off for Senegal in August. In the book You Shall Know Our Velocity by Dave Eggers the two main characters go to Senegal, and meet a woman treading water in the pool who describes to them the "4th World." Maybe this is where my sister is headed.

''Not the first world, the world we are from, not the second or third world, so many people treading water. This is different. The fourth world is voluntary. It is quick small steps from the other worlds. . . . It's this close. But it's different. It's passive. We . . . make the action here. We come and then we create things that will happen. The fourth world is half thought, half actual. It's a staging ground.''

Along with music comes some fantastic album art, and i couldn't deny you a taste.
